New artiste Yaw Tog has been perceived as the April 'BET Amplified International' Artiste of the Month.

This comes scarcely fourteen days after he won the Hip Hop melody of the year grant with his tune 'Sore' which highlights Kumerican acts O'Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie and Jay Bahd.

" BET Amplified is our seal of endorsement on the following large thing in music," the BET International post read.

Yaw Tog, conceived Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, is a Senior High School understudy who rose to popularity in 2020 when the Kumerica development was at its pinnacle.

He won the hearts of numerous Ghanaians when he relased his hit melody Sore which acquainted the world with Asaka, Kumericans take on drill music.

The tune highlighted other rap artistes from Kumasi specifically O'Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie and Jay Bahd.

The melody turned out to be so well known he did a remix of it with UK based rapper Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur.

He has delivered his presentation collection 'Time' and has been selected multiple times in the current year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

'Sore' has three designations specifically, Most Popular Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year and Best Hiphop Song.
