Theft robbery

Ikon has been threatened with a lawsuit by Kweku Darlington's lawyers for alleged music theft.

Lawyers of popular Kumerican rapper, Kweku Darlington, have vowed to sue Ikon for allegedly stealing his song.

The rapper's new single, "Sika Kankan," was making headlines until he was accused of copying.

However, none of the allegations levied against Kweku Darlington are accurate, according to his lawyers.

"This charge by Ikonz is not only untrue but it was also put together with the intent of causing dissatisfaction in the eyes of right-thinking members of society." The statement was broken down into parts.

According to Onesimos Barimah, a member of Kweku Darlington's management team, the music is theirs and they have complete ownership.

The lawyers also demanded that Ikon and his management retract any defamatory claims made against them on social media, according to the statement.

They further requested that Ikon and his crew cease all claims to ownership of the music immediately.

According to the statement, either Ikon and his management should comply or face Darlington's lawyers in court.
