TV3 announced it plan's to re-run Date Rush Season 1 way back. The show will be premiering this Saturday, 17th July and evey Saturday at 9mp.
Obviously, Date Rush Season 1, 2 and 3 was hosted by another jovial man, Nii Kpakpo until Giovani took over from him. It was said that, Nii kpakpo relocated from Ghana and that was why there was a need for a new host.
Seriously, there were uproar reactions by fans for why TV3 has to change the host. But TV3 promised Giovani was also going to give them the same humor's, and will not disappoint. Yes!! Indeed it was fun.
Concerning the re-run show, there had been some kind of mixed reactions by fans. Some said this reruns will bring them some existing memories from Nii Kpakoo.
And again, some also feels this will bring another controversy as to who, Nii Kkapko or Giovani is the suit host for Date Rush.
Interestingly, viewers love Date Rush. No doubt about it. But if the programme run long on tv, viewers are going to lose interest at some point. TV3 should give viewers some time to miss Date Rush, and to look forward to the next season.
