According to YEN.com.gh, Akuapem Poloo was granted bail by the court, presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey, pending the final determination of her appeal challenging the Accra Circuit Court's 90-day jail sentence.

The actress will be released on bail for GHc80,000 with three sureties.
She was also ordered to report to the police every two weeks and to surrender her passport at the High Court registry.
Akuapem Poloo was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges of publishing obscene materials and engaging in domestic violence, as previously reported by YEN.com.gh.
Ghanaians reacted differently to the court's decision to sentence the actress to prison, with some supporting it and others opposing it.
