
A popular actor, Samuel Manu who is also known as Agya Manu in the movie industry died on July 15, 2021. He was battling with a brief illness and died at the age of 50. He had five children and grandchildren.
His families performed the final funeral rite for him and the burial took place at Accra arts center on Saturday, August 21. The crowd was full of popular movie stars like Agya Koo, Sumsum, Auntie B, Akyere Bruwaa, Bill Asamoah, Lilwin, Oboy Siki, Christiana Awuni, Matilda Asare and other popularly known stars.


The present of the movie stars made the function interesting and enjoyable for the mourners to reduce their weeping. They didn't only offer their condolences but gave a massive performance to bid him farewell. Agya Koo led the group involving Lilwin and after that, Adom TV’s nsoromma winner, Righteous Vandyke performed under the function with a massive highlife.
Mr. Manu was finally laid in state in a royal attire and made to rest in a brown cannon camera shaped coffin with his pictures on the sides.
