The Ghana Movie industry has come to a stand still for some years now and it seems it’s not coming back anytime soon to how it use to be. The Kumasi based movies which was termed as Kumawood was very vibrant during some years back and producing actors like, Agya Koo, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, Emilia Brobbey, Nana Ama Mc Brown, Bishop Benard Nyarko and the rest. Now one can say the movie industry of Ghana has collapse with no sign of it coming back. One of the major factors affecting the industry is the marketing structures and how behind we are in the introduction of technology in movie making.

However there are some Movie makers who are still producing Movies and Series, Kumawood Actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is one person who is doing well producing films on his own. He already has three different series running in television and he’s on set for another Television series which features Akuapem Poloo, Mr. Beautiful, Paa George and the rest.
