Meet Obaapa Christy's handsome son, who has dreadlocks all over, at his age (Photos)

Obapaa Christy, formerly Christiana Love, is a well-known musician from Ghana whose song "Meti Ase" won the Gospel Artist of the Year and Song of the Year awards at the 2007 Ghana Music Awards. She received a national accolade in 2008 from former president John Kuffour as a result of her sterling work. Finding out more about the gospel singer's personal life led to the discovery that she had a cute son with dreadlocks all over.

Many people in Ghana believe that it is wrong for men to have dreadlocks, yet Austin, the son of Obapaa Christy, looks cute doing it. The multi-award-winning gospel singer recently encouraged her followers on social media with a picture of herself and toddler Austin. The "mother and son" picture was posted on the "Hebrew Sesafo" hitmaker's official social media account. It features the pair out for a stroll.

According to the image, the gospel singer and her son have been out shopping in Germany, where they currently reside. The "W'asue Me" singer was sporting a pair of jeans and Addidas sneakers, and her small boy was sporting a bag and a blue long sleeve shirt over trousers.

Obaapa Christy posted the image without a caption, proving that sometimes a picture really can say a thousand words. After divorcing Pastor Love, she married Nana Yaw Frankie in a discreet ceremony that took place in Accra.

Following numerous issues and conflicts that arose from their marriage, Obaapa and her ex-husband, Pastor Love, divorced. In the past, the prophet Manesseh Kwabena Boateng claimed that Obaapa Christy's ex-husband had hired four armed robbers to gang up on and rape the musician who was also his wife at the time.
