Enock Darko popularly known as Mr. Tutu is a Ghanaian actor and a comedian born 31 December. He was born in Ghana to a Ghanaian parents and grew up in Ghana. Darko who is now part of Nollywood said through the help of his trainer and parent he made strenuous efforts to achieve his acting dream.
According to him, organizers of the Kids reality show never bothered to push the young talents further or even connect them to the right people in the industry to help them build their career. He is a fast rising Ghanaian actor and a comedian who is taking his acting career to a different higher level especially in Nigeria. Enock was the second runner-up of the 2011 season two Tv3's talented kids show held in Ghana 2011. He has featured in many movies with top Nigerian actors.
“I’ve featured in almost 50 movies when I relocated to Nigeria. I’ve acted with well known Nigeria actors like Chief Pete Edochie, Osita Iheme, Destiny Etiko and many others.” he disclosed
Enock Darko was honoured at the Ghana Film Summit in 2019 for his amazing contribution to the sustainability of the Ghana Film Industry organized by the Film Directors Guild of Ghana [FDGG]. He has featured in over ten drama series both in Ghana and Nigeria.
Speaking on why he relocated to Nigeria, Darko bemoaned the fact that some actors bad-mouth their colleagues’, adding that there is so much hatred in the industry that some people would even resort to juju to hurt others to get to the top.
“For now, I’ve stopped acting in Ghanaian movies. I’ll be part of the Ghanaian film industry when the system is fixed.” The Young actor said.
