My first experience with telenovela was with a series from Brazil. I fell in love with the main character called Renato so much so that it became an inspiration for me in so many ways till today.
Telenovelas from India, Brazil, Mexico are good, most of them are acted so well that one can easily relate to the characters But the truth is that when you start praising your neighbor's wife too much, it's only a matter of time that you will neglect your wife for your neighbor's wife
Ghana is also blessed with talented actors and actresses, I remember the days of inspector Bediako when I was a kid, the ultimate paradise, things we do for love, these are all very good television series. I do not know whose idea it was to import Mexican or Brazilian television mercenaries and give them twi as their mother tongue for them to end up going to Nsawam prison
But the authorities have done very well by decided to put a halt to it and do the needful to promote the Ghanaian content more on the television screen
Whoever is in charge or whoever made the wise decision to put the halt to the telenovelas series on the Ghanaian television screens have done well
