For sometime now, after the nomination of artists for the upcoming 3music Awards were made public by the event organizers.
The popular Kumasi based acts, Asakaa Music Group known for exposing Ghana’s drill scene to the world with their hit song, Sore, under Life Living Records had some speculations around them that they don’t want any of the nominations they had.
The public relations officer of the management of these Asakaa Kumerican artists said on the show that, the management of the group did not speculate any statement like boycotting the even it was rather by another person from their camp.
He went on to say that, they were not happy with some of the nomination group they were added and also the failure of the organizers to contact them before giving them a nomination category.
We think that the Asakaa boys should be able to communicate well before putting statements out to the public and also accept the awards in good faith.
