I started selling on the street when I was ten years, Ceccy Twum.

Ceccy Twum, a Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter, has revealed some personal details about herself.

In a new interview, the female Gospel singer detailed her formative days and told a story about her life. She confessed in a one-on-one interview with actor and vlogger Kwaku Manu that growing up wasn't easy for her.

The vocalist of "Meko Manim" told her tragic and instructive narrative so that others could learn from it. She remarked that despite being born into a wealthy family in Accra, life became difficult for her along the way.

Ceccy said that her parents divorced when she was a child, forcing her to go from Accra to a community called Winneba in the Central Region, where she was born.

She stated she moved to the village to live with her grandmother when her parents divorced, and she had to start selling at the age of ten owing to financial problems.
