N/R: Mixed Reactions As The Only Two TV Stations In The Region Are To Be Shut Down By NCA

The decision by the National Communications Authority (NCA), to shut down the only two TV stations in the Northern Region has generated some reactions from residents in the Region.

This was after the two TV stations in the Northern Region were included in the list of TV stations that the NCA intend to close down for not having the necessary license to operate.

The NCA action is as a result of several TV stations in the Country who allowed their stations to be used by spiritualists claiming to be money doublers and deceive unsuspecting people by duping them.

The two TV stations in the Northern Region, Sagani TV and NTV are only local and private owned TV stations that broadcast in the local dialect for most people to understand and for that matter, they have a huge number of audience in the Northern Region.

Just some few Hours after the release from the NCA communicating its decision to shut down unauthorized TV stations including the two TV stations, there has been public uproar concerning the latest decision by the NCA.

Whiles others think that, the NCA decision will be an upfront to media development in the Region, others believed that, the decision is in the right direction so far as the two TV stations do not comply with the regulations by the NCA.

Below are some screen shots of the reactions to the issue on social media.

Ealier today, Popular Ghanaian spiritualist, Nana Agrada was arrested and her TV station shut down for claiming to be a money doubler.
