Obrafour, Ghana Rap Sofo born Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko is a Ghanaian hip-hop, rap and Alternative Indie musician.
Obrafour, after more than two decades in the Ghanaian Music industry, is still quite relevant and highly revered by most top Artists in Ghana, such as Sarkodie, Pappy Kojo, Actress Yvonne Nelson etc.
The Executioner Entertainer and Rap Sofo was born on the 16th of November 1976 which made him attain the age of forty-five years yesterday.
Just like today's Sarkodie, Kofi Kinatta, Black Sheriff etc, Obrafour has a unique style of Twi rapping and storytelling.
His unique style of rapping made him quite popular just at the unset when he released his first album 'Pae Mu ka' in the year 1999.
His "Pae mu ka" album instantly become a a hit and very popular those days. And even won him three awards during the year 2000 edition of Ghana Music Awards.
It is believed to be one of the best selling albums in Ghana even up till now.
In May 2019, Obrafour celebrated the 20th anniversary of the "Pae mu ka" album and launched his Obrafofro foundation.

Obrafour was born in Obo Kwahu to a chorister mother by name Mrs Gladys Agyapomaa and Mr Kwaku Okyere Darko.
Obrafour's mother was very significant in his life and therefore his dream of becoming a Lawyer was quashed after her death.
It is often said 'like father like son' but in Obrafour's case, it is like mother like son as Obrafour reveals that, he inherited the musical flare from his mother who was once a Choirmaster.
Quite young in age, Obrafour performed songs with his mother in church.
The story of Obrafour's musical journey and success cannot be completely narrated without the mention of Hammer's name.
Music Producer Hammer, facilitated a deal between Obrafour and Abraham Ohene Djan (OM Studios) after Obrafour attended an audition and in the latter part of the year 1999, Pae Mu Ka, his debut album was released.
