The American-based Ghanaian investigative journalist Kevin Ekow Baido Taylor has revealed that he can teach about 70% of journalists in Ghana. According to him, most of these journalists started as radio announcers.
Kevin Taylor made this statement on his 'With All Due respect' program on Loud Silence television as a reaction to some of the unprofessional media reports by journalists and political talk shows hosts.
He advised that political party communicators shouldn't play into the hands of such hungry journalists. They should always stick to their party principles and messages whenever they are going on radio and TV stations for discussions.
"I can teach a majority of these journalists in Ghana. I can teach about 70% of them because they don't know about journalism. All they can do is to make noise." - he said
He added that the communicators of political parties especially, the NDC, should understand the ploys and schemes of these so-called media houses and journalists in twisting the statement they make on their programs.
