Twene Jonas is a Ghanaian social media celebrity, who rose to fame after his videos of criticizing corrupt leaders and comparing Ghana to the United States went viral.
He has been trending on social media for almost two days now and this is due to the video he did criticizing the king of Ashanti Region, Otumfour. He was even cursed by a man, who claims he has insulted him.
Today, another video of Otumfuo's Nkwantakesehene, Nana Boakye Yaw Ababio, who claimed that Twene Jonas should fly from the U.S to Ghana and render an apology to the king for insulting him or else something bad will happen to him. And he should bring along his family members and his hometown chief.
This has gotten a lot of reactions from Ghanaians on social media, who claimed that Twene Jonas has not said or done anything wrong, so he will not apologise to anybody. And Twene Jonas is speaking the truth.
Others also wrote on their pages that the chiefs can not put fear in people anymore, since we are still not in the olden era. And if the chiefs want respect, they should do what is right.
