Nana Aba Anamoah, the general manager of GhOne TV and Star FM is currently trending on the various social media platforms especially on Twitter and Instagram because she used her influence as a TV personality to secure a job for an unemployed university graduate.
Mr. Antwi Boasiako is a graduate from Ghana's premier university, University of Ghana. He holds a bachelor's degree (second class upper division) in political science. The 28 - year old graduate has been working at a washing bay in Agbogba, Accra as a car washer for seven (7) months now.
According to Mr. Boasiako, things became hard after completing his national service ;he had struggled to secure a job, but all proved futile. He was left with the only option of washing a car because he must feed himself.
How Nana Aba met with Antwi Boasiako
Nana Aba narrated in a video that somebody recommended Antwi Boasiako to her, and so she decided to visit him at his work place. She went there to have her car washed.
After interviewing him, she recorded a video of the interview and posted on her social media pages for Ghanaians to help him secure a better job. The video went viral and attracted thousands of viewers.
Many people expressed interest in offering the graduate a job. So far, he has been offered a scholarship to study abroad and a job.
Mr. Boasiako in a video indicated that, he wants the job in order to apply the knowledge he has acquired in university.
