It was all tears for our brother SDK Dele as he lost his father to the icy hands of death. We have really lost a great man. SDK and the dad have been entertaining us for a long while. They have made us laugh our problems away on so many occasions. Their comedy skits have unleashed a new lease of life in us by making us laugh.
On such a sad occasion like this, one would expect that showbiz people from the entertainment industry will be around to support their brother in such a difficult moment like this. But the opposite was the case. Very few entertainment personalities were at the funeral to support him. In a sideline interview with Kofi TV at the funeral grounds yesterday, the biggest Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya lamented about the lack of support the showbiz industry offers to each other. He said that the industry players are too individualistic which doesn't help at all. He was expecting to see a lot of showbiz people at the funeral to support SDK but very few were present. Even those the man has worked with in their music videos didn't show up.
Kwadwo Sheldon also made mention of the fact that industry players always sit on social media and cry about lack of support from their fellow industry players. Meanwhile they don't support others. It's a shame for us to be behaving in such a amanner. If they continue like this, the industry will never grow.
