Ghana's comedian DKB started this initiative of soliciting for contributions in form of cash and donations on Facebook. Although, he has received some backlash from netizens, others have also made an attempt to contribute something.
A Ghanaian lady who according to DKB goes by the name Patricia Ampong donated plenty dollars to Akuapem Account for her son. The lady donated in dollars which suggest she resides outside the country. She had wanted to remain anonymous but DKB thought it wise to celebrate her.
It seems some people want to support Akuapem polo and her son and standing up for peoples needs. Over these past few days, many have been reaching out to her and her family affected due to the jail situation.
