Sefadzi Abena Amesu is a vocally talented female Ghanaian afrobeat artist who was born on May 17th, 1995 in the Northern region of Ghana. Sefa, as she is called onstage, is a composer and performer signed to DBlack's 'Black Avenue Muzik' label.
The talented female singer comes from Afife, a village in Ghana's Volta Region, and is one of four siblings. Sefa, like her father, is of mixed heritage, with an Ewe father and a Northern mother.
She received a Diploma in purchasing and supply from Accra Technical University after graduating from Ola Girls Senior High School in Ho in 2014.
While pursuing her desire of having a musical career, she built a name for herself on Instagram by performing with live bands and festivals.
However, in 2017, she secured a recording deal with Black Avenue Muzik and made her debut in the Ghanaian music scene with her first professional smash track, “Marry Me,” featuring Jupiter.
In May 2018, the young vocalist released her smash track “Shuga,” which featured DopeNation, a phenomenal Ghanaian music duo. B2's track "Shuga" soon became a hit on the streets.
