The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is a music event that celebrates our finest artistes in Ghana, Organisers of the awards show released the nominees for the various categories and social media couldn't stop talking about it. The event is scheduled for later this year but, voting has already started.
One category I find interesting is the collaboration of the year category, the nominees are ;
1. Adina ft Stonebwoy – take care of you.
2. Darkovibes ft King Promise – Inna song.
3. Keche ft Kuami Eugene – No dulling.
4. Kidi ft Adina – One man.
5. Kofi Jamar ft Yaw tog, YPee – Ekorso.
7. Sarkodie ft kuami Eugene – Happy day.
8. Yaw Tog ft Asakaa Boys – Sore.
It is interesting all the songs are complete bangers and each one of them dominated airwaves but honestly, I believe this category is power packed due to the fact that most of the songs dominated airwaves but I believe Yaw Togs "Sore" and Sarkodie's " Happy day" has become more of an anthem in Ghana. Sarkodie released happy day during the 2020 elections and the song became an instant hit due to the lyrics however, Yaw Tog's "sore" also became an instant hit, the Asakaa boys did a good job with their verse in the song. In my opinion I believe Yaw Tog ft Asakaa boys deserve to win this category.
