Through live streaming of concerts, fans get the opportunity to connect with their artistes and enjoy what they have to offer. This helps them to enjoy the arts while staying at home to help curb the spread of the pandemic.
Adom TV has been one of the media houses that have served their viewers with virtual concerts. Theirs is dubbed Ghana Unites. Some of the popular acts that have already performed on it are Kuami Eugene and Kidi.
Apparently, Shatta Wale is scheduled to perform on the Ghana Unites virtual concert come Sunday, 7th March. However, the 'I Know My Level' hit maker has taken to his Twitter page to express his worry about something Adom TV has done ahead of the virtual concert set to take place come Sunday.
According to Shatta's Twitter post, Adom TV designed and posted a flyer of him without his consent. He wondered why the media house would design a flyer of him as a way of publicizing the upcoming virtual concert without consulting with him or his management team.
He added that he didn't even like that particular picture for a flyer anymore. "This is total disrespect...", he wrote. This is what he had to post to register his displeasure:
"So Adom TV, what will happen if you call my team before you do this none-sense!!! Sometimes erh, I feel sad for the youths of this country, they will see it and will keep their mouth shut ... this is total disrespect. I don’t even want this pix for a flyer no more."
It seems Adom TV has to up their game and do things of such nature more professionally if what Shatta Wale is claiming is the case. See Shatta's post below:
