The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), the biggest music award event in Ghana thankfully came off this year without any major hindrance to its organization. On the other hand, some celebrities were not too excited about how they were received.
Kwaw Kese alias Abodam was one person who was not too excited and did not fail to mince words when he had the opportunity to do so. He spoke his mind and almost even forgot the task for which he was called to the stage.
Adorned in white top and trousers with a matching white hat, he was called upon to present the award for the BEST HIGH LIFE SONG OF THE YEAR. Appearing pissed, he went straight into addressing the issue that appears to have been boiling within him alnight. He was unhappy about how security men at the entrance harassed him even though they clearly knew who he was. He indicated the organizers could have done better and should do better.
He appeared so pissed he almost left the stage without presenting the award. When he was prompted, his response came off as though he has lost faith in the integrity of the award scheme. His response, "But you already know the winner," came off unexpected to the MCs but they did insist so he had to call the winners out any way to the uproar many gathered.
