Pop singer Shakira, 45 announced that she had split with Barcelona star Gerard Pique after 11 years together on Saturday in a statement through her publicist. However both Pique and Shakira appeared to spend the weekend together watching their son play baseball despite no longer being a couple.
They were spotted in the Czech Republic watching their son Milan, 8 play in an international baseball tournament.
The couple’s split was as a result of rumors being linked with Gerard pique for allegedly having an affair with young Barcelona prospect Gavi’s mother. This cheating allegations led to Shakira asking for a divorce. A statement from Shakira’s publicist stated “for the well-being of our children, who are our biggest priority we ask that you respect our privacy although we are no longer a couple. They will still be there for their kids regardless they not being together anymore because their kids need them now more than ever said Pop-star Shakira
