However, before he died, Kohwe made a statement which has touched the hearts of many Ghanaians. In the video, the Late Kohwe indicated that, he needed help and that, Ghanaians should help him. He said people do not have to wait for him to die before they come to him to donate to his funeral. He said that is not appropriate. He will not use cash for anything when he is dead.

It is true that, most persons need help. Most movie actors are complaining about how bad their finances are currently. 'Taxi Driver' who was once a popular movie actor recently couldn't pay his house rent and pleaded with Ghanaians to help him pay. This touched the heart of the vice president for Ghana to help him with ¢50,000 for rent and upkeep.
Aside him, other Ghanaian actors are on their knees telling the industry to improve the welfare of members.
Kohwe has been battling with stroke few months ago and he was declared dead on Thursday by his daughter.
