Berla Mundi completed her secondary education at Achimota Senior High, and then went on to pursue tertiary education at the University of Ghana, Legon. She studied Linguistics and Psychology at University and went on to pursue further education at Alliance Francais and also the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Berla Mundi in several of her public messages and advice to ladies expressed that ladies should be more open and have options when it comes to dating, this caused her quite some controversy back when she made those statements.
Berla has however dated a handful of the finest men in Ghana, most notable on the list include; Joe Mettle (who is now married to Salome Selassie Dzisa), E.L (One of Ghana's finest rappers and musician). She is currently however single, and her current dating life is under the radar.
3, Great Achievements
She was shot to celebrity status when she earned the second runner-up position in Miss Malaika in 2010. This grabbed the attention of media houses as she had the perfect blend of beauty, brains, and eloquence.
GH-ONE thus employed her. After working for GH-ONE for five years, Berla is currently at TV3 Network. In 2015 she started the Berla Mundi Foundation.
