Wendy Shay finally replies COP Kofi Boakye for his argument about who a celebrity is.
Recall, Just last week, the IGP invited all Celebrities for a conference to have a talk following Shatta Wale and Medikal's arrest. As the conference proceeds, COP Kofi Boakye came out with an argument about who a celebrity is, and what the role of who they call a celebrity is. Meanwhile, the Celebrities petitioned the IGP to allow them some privileges considering their status as a public figure. COP who never saw the importance of their petition, questioned their celebrity status. He stated, who is a celebrity and what the real definition of the word celebrity? This didn't end there, he went on saying, does appearing in a single film make you a celebrity? because they are far far confused about who seems to be called a celebrity and that, needs more clarification about the word.
The Award Winning Afro Pop Star, Wendy Shay in her recent post seemed to have replied to COP in response to his question about who a celebrity is.
"Celebrity is an English word, it means a famous person especially in the entertainment industry" Wendy Shay defines celebrity in response to COP Boakye's argument.
The singer in the next line added that, it seems Ghanaians have their own definition for the word, celebrity. The singer further tagged COP Kofi Boakye as being jealous of someone gaining theceleberaty status. "Someone being a famous too it pain you people ohh Dabi" the singer concluded.
This statement of hers has left many Ghanaians divided minds as to who this pitching is aimed it. Per what many are saying, this is actually geared towards the COP Kofi Boakye following his statement to rubbish their petition to the IGP.
