
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya East Constituency (Kasoa), Central Region, and at the same time Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson expressed deep anger in an interview with the host of "Ade Akye Abia" due to the recent actions of the fishermen.
According to Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson, she has distributed premix fuel to the fishermen at the land beaches but the information reaching her indicates that those who received the premix fuel including the leader of the fishermen have no canoes.
Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson said, it has created problems in the fishing ministry and she has decided to go to the land beaches and find solutions with the fishermen if only they open up to her. She also said that the ministry of fisheries will reconstitute the land beaches for the denial of premix fuel to the fishermen without canoes.
These recent actions of the fishermen made Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson express deep anger on Okay FM in the morning.
