[THROWBACK]: Family Keep Lion As A Pet But It Backfires As Animal Bites Their 15-Year-Old Son

The lion is owned by the 15-year-old called Diniil's uncle and jumped on him as he got back to the family home.

His uncle Eghish Eroyan defended the lion is well friendly and would not harm anyone, yet Diniil endured wounds to his buttocks, hips and right hand.

Diniil was getting back home after sports practice when the lioness, named Maya, escaped the house when she just barely got through the entryway as the family's pet canines were being let out for a run. The kid, stunned at seeing the lion bouncing towards him, froze and ran.

Maya immediately got him up and cut him down, in the city of Saratov in south-western Russia.

Mr Eroyan, 28, who was given the lion as a gift by afriend and who was out at that point, demanded that she was doing whatever it takes not to hurt the young person.

"She really loves people," he said. "The way I see it, she got really happy when she saw the boy and rushed to play with him.

"She has had her claws cut, so she just threw the guy down with her weight, but she could not scratch him.

"Immediately my sister ran out, she saw that the child had scratches, not from the lioness, but from the fall."

Mr Eroyan says he also has two dogs and that all of the animals eat from the same bowls and sleep in the same bed as him

He has posted videos on social media of the lion on his back, licking his face, and in the back of a pick-up truck with his dogs.

This is a throwback of an incident that took place in April 2017.
