Achimota Forest Has Encroached - Allotey

The former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs in an interview with the host of Kokrokoo, Kwame Sefa Kayi discloses that the Achimota Forest has massively encroached.

According to Bernard Allotey Jacobs, the Achimota Forest as negative information recently popped up about it that it has been sold but Samuel Abu Jinapor finally came out to confirm it is not true has served as shelter, road, jobs, and many other facilities through encroachment.

Bernard Allotey Jacobs said the land on which the Forestry Commission, Dzorwulu junction, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) buildings were built are all part of Achimota Forest as it has encroached.

After that, people started encroaching on the Achimota Forest by building houses on the land.

Due to the benefits that the Achimota Forest has brought to the nation, Bernard Allotey Jacobs was sad when he heard it has been sold but now he is happy after Samuel Abu Jinapor confirmed it is not true.
