The residents of Bakpaba in the Nanumba north of Bimbilla municipality in the Northern region are facing water challenges.
The situation at hand looks so pathetic and challenging as residents always struggled to get clean and potable drinking water.

The only dam in the community that serves as drinking water which is equally shared with the animals in the community has been contaminated by the animals dump.
This has made it difficult for the residents of Bakpaba to get clean drinking water for their domestic purposes.

The community has made all efforts to drill boreholes with the help of the MCE and the MP for the Nanumba north of Bimbilla Constituency but their efforts are fruitless.
The only pipe borne water that was supplied to the community in December 2020 is no more flowing as all the pipes have being closed.
They are therefore in a great dilemma but has no choice than to use this contaminated water for their domestic purposes.
