The Achimota Forest saga keeps getting into the news as many stakeholders have come out to provide their side of the story. Recall how a total of 361.5 acres of Achimota Forest lands have been in the news as declassified and the Owoo Family have been indicated as beneficiaries. The current Lands Minister as well as Honourable Inusah Fuseini, a former lands Minister have all come to provide their sides of the story.

On Thursday, 26th May 2022, TV3's Johnny Hughes had a discussion with the Osu Traditional Council, and there was various information that was made available to the public. In fact, the representative of the Council, Nii Odoi Kwai II explained that he is the Head of the Anumansah family, and he explained that the Owoo family is not the right beneficiaries of the said lands. He further showed some documents to Johnny to attest to the fact that there was an acquisition judgment that did not have the Owoo Family as owners. The Osu Traditional Council representative also told Johnny how disappointed he was to realize how certain lawyers were helping the Owoo Family to take lands that belong to the Osu Traditional Family.

We wish to ask our readers to join the discussion by proposing how this Forest Saga can be solved once and for all. What do you make of the statements by Nii Odoi Kwai II on live TV as he scrutinized the issues? Please give us your impressions in the comment section below. Thank you for enjoying this piece of information and do not forget to like and follow JUKELAFRICA if you have not done so. Cheers!
