Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson is currently the NPP member of parliament for Ewutu Senya East Constituency at Kasoa in the Central Region. She is a Ghanaian politician and an educationalist. Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson is also the minister for fishes and aqua culture, she is at the top of the hierarchy organization of the ministry, and is responsible for management, policy making, and makes regulations that evolves around fisheries in Ghana.
Earlier today, she went to one of the seas with her big key to lock the sea together with some Ghanaian's.
As usual some social media viewers shared their ideas on what happened.
Before that her ministry met with the parliamentary select committee on food, agriculture and cocoa affairs at the parliament house, to update the house on the measures being put in place for the closed fishing season, she also met with some stakeholders to told them the need to abide by the fishing regulations and laws and also support the closed fishing season initiative which was schedule to start on 1st july,2021.
