The President's signature, instructing that portions of Achimota Forest can no longer be a forest reserves has sparked a lot stir, debate and arguments among Ghanaians across all social media platforms. Coupled with other trending news, the community organizer at the Fixthecountry movement, Oliver Barker-Vormawor made an unexpected post.
Nevertheless, Oliver emphatically stated that a society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. However, according to him, in his society, an eighty year old man can sell a forest. In his overwhelming post, Oliver questioned, "Where are we heading as a society".
