DIY: How To Make Vitamin C Face Serum at home For Flawless Skin

Vitamin C, also known as Ascorbic acid is unarguably one of the best Vitamins you can ever feed your skin with. These vitamins are found in almost all acidic fruits but are in their larger quantities in citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons, and limes. Some of the numerous benefits of vitamin C to the skin include; increasing collagen in the skin which helps to firm the skin, fights wrinkles, evens out the skin tone, protects the skin against harmful sun rays etc...To attain the full benefits of vitamin C, it is best to use it in their serum forms. There are uncountable cosmetic branded vitamin C serums in the market, however they are quite expensive and most likely not 100% organic.

In this article, I am going to show you how to make your own vitamin C serum at home with simple kitchen ingredients, which will be very effective, safer and less costly. The items needed for our DIY serum are listed below:

1.Ripe Oranges 2.Rose water3. Vitamin E capsules4. Glycerine HOW TO GO ABOUT IT

1. Take one orange and peel off the skin onto a clean plate. Make sure to cut the peels into smaller pieces.

2. Dry the peels in the sun for 24 hours and collect them into a clean bowl.

3. Add 2 table spoons of rose water.

4. Add half tablespoon of glycerine.

5. Add 3 capsules of vitamin E and stir together.

6. Cover the bowl with an aluminium cling and allow to stay in room temperature for 6 hours.

7. Put the orange peels with the liquids into a blender and blend together.

8. Collect the liquid(serum) from the mixture into another bowl with a ceive.

9. Pour the serum into a sizeable bottle and store.

HOW TO USE

Apply few drops on your face and massage in. Repeat this day and night and enjoy a flawless skin.
