Beauty Pageants generally has gone beyond the Beauty, that’s the expensive truth so many pageant organizers fail to understand. It’s not just about the beauty; it’s more about Impact on their lives of others and the society in general.
Bintou, who is known to have worn Hijab throughout the weeks of the pageantry show, has proven to people that beauty pageant is not all about going on “half naked” but the fact is rather inner beauty counts.
Yes! with her courage of doing it am sure it will encourage other Muslim girls to part take in beauty pageants. As this is the perfect time to represent herself as a Muslim woman and encourage other girls to live their life with conviction and not to be scared. To represent a population where women do dress like that especially with all that's happened and so many girls feeling scared to wear their hijab.
Up until the present, the stigmatisation of people with dark skin continue unabated. Many blacks and dark skinned people appear to have lost hope, pride and dignity in their unique "dark skin". Everything shows she is proud of her skin color.
Bintou Kei is 24 years old and she is an entrepreneur and Fashion model. “I am grateful to be part of this year’s Miss Malaika and excited for the journey ahead. Stick with me and i promised to give you nothing but my absolutely best”.
