Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB) is the biggest and most sought-after beauty contest, organized by TV3 Ghana annually with the focus of enlightening the global community about the various cultural values and heritage in Ghana. It is also used as a tool to promote development through culture and unity.
The contestants have to go through a series of assessments and tests such as personality, intelligence, talent, character, answering of questions on-stage, etc to accumulate points, in addition, to vote from the audience, after which the contestant with the highest point will be crowned as Ghana’s Most Beautiful.
Since the inception of GMB in the year 2007, the following are beauty Queens crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful winners and their regions:
Naa Ama Agyeiwaa won the 2007 GMB, she was the representative for Central Region.
Sarah Adoley Addo won the 2008 GMB, she was the representative for Greater Accra Region.
Nasara Miriam Abdul Rauf won the 2009 GMB, she was the representative for Northern Region.
Nana Ama Agyeiwaa won the 2010 GMB, she was the representative for Eastern Region.
Akua Amoakowaa won the 2011 GMB, she was the representative for Ashanti Region.
Emefa Akosua Adeti won the 2012 GMB, she was the representative for Volta Region.
Poka won the 2013 GMB, she was the representative for Upper East Region.
Baciara won the 2014 GMB, she was the representative for Upper West Region.
Esi Vera Oheneba Safaoh won the 2015 GMB, she was the representative for Central Region.
Yaaba won the 2016 GMB, she was the representative for Western Region.
Zeinab Abdul Mumin won the 2017 GMB, she was the representative for Northern Region.
Noami Abena Obeng won the 2018 GMB, she was the representative for Eastern Region.
Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah won the 2019 GMB, she was the representative for Central Region.
Naa Dedei Botchwey won the 2020 GMB, she was the representative for Greater Accra Region.
