There are numerous advantages to applying tomato juice to the skin. You can use tomato juice, crushed tomatoes, tomato pulp, or construct a face pack by infusing tomatoes with other skin-beneficial components.

The benefits of tomatoes for the skin include the following:

1. Tomato and Honey

Honey has numerous skin-beneficial properties, and combining it with tomatoes can boost those properties. It takes one tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of tomato pulp. Before applying them evenly on the face, thoroughly combine them. Allow them to sit for 10-15 minutes before washing them off. Do this twice a week to keep your skin soft.

2. Tomato and Papaya 

This face pack is excellent for preventing early skin ageing and reducing pimples and scars.

Combine two tablespoons tomato pulp and two tablespoons papaya. Make a thick paste and massage it into your skin. Allow it to dry for 15 minutes. Wash it off and do it again twice a week.

3. Tomato and Tea Tree Oil

Tomato contains deep cleansing agents and corrects the skin's pH levels, thereby preventing breakouts and minimising acne, especially when mixed with the soothing properties of tea tree oil

Add a few drops of tea tree essential oil to the pulp from one tomato after removing the seeds. Apply it all over the face, let it sit for ten to fifteen minutes, and then wash it off. For acne-prone skin, repeat two to three times per week.

4. Tomato and Turmeric

Tomatoes make an excellent face pack for uneven skin tone when paired with the antioxidants and anti-inflammatory qualities of turmeric. Tomatoes, which are high in vitamins C, E, and beta carotene, help improve the complexion, lighten skin tone, and brighten skin.

To make a paste, combine the juice of one tomato with a small amount of turmeric powder and sandalwood powder. Apply the skin-brightening pack to your face and sit back and relax while it dries. Then rinse with lukewarm water.

5. Tomato and Lemon 

Natural astringents such as tomato and lemon juice shrink pores and reduce breakouts.

To minimize big pores, mix the pulp of one tomato with a few drops of lemon juice and apply it all over your face. After 10-15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
