Ghanaian actress, movie producer, social media influencer and fashion icon, Nana Akua Addo is mostly known for her outstanding fashion sense which has even gained her international recognition. Aside what she puts out on social media, her fans may not know too much about her and so here are amazing facts about this beautiful fashion icon you may not know about.
1. She grew up in Germany
She revealed in a sit down interview with Ghanaian blogger and Youtuber, Zionfelix that she spent a great part of her formative years in Berlin, Germany and came to Ghana at 16 years old on a visit but ended up staying longer than expected.
2.She was 16 years old in Class 3
Due to her long stay in Germany, she wasnt fluent in the English language when she came to Ghana and so was enrolled in Class 3. She was constantly teased and mocked by her classmates because of her height in comparison to theirs. She eventually dropped out and went on to apply to sit for the B.E.C.E.
3.She worked on a farm and sold tomatoes
In order to give her traditional home training, her grandmum used to go with her to the farm to help out and when it was harvest time, she woud gather some tomatoes and go and sell which she says she enjoyed doing.
4.She attended University Practice SHS and St.Johns Grammar
She attended two different secondary schools because one school which was a boarding school did not allow her to keep her hair grown after vacation and so she eventually stopped attending and enrolled in a day school.
5.She participated in beauty pageants including Miss Malaika and emerged second runner up.
She also revealed being a participant of Miss Malaika Ghana when it first started in the country and emerged second runner up. She also participated in otger pageants in senior high school where she met Lydia Forson, Stacy Amoateng and other celebrities we know today.
6.She has been with her husband for 13 years
Nana Akua Addo met and has been with her husband for thirteen long years and with him, she has two beautiful daughters aged 8 and 5.
