As Africans, we definitely love our prints. The kente, Ankara, and the rest. But most times, we love to pair them with plain materials to bring out a different look or style.
Today, I am here to show you plain and print ideas for all occasions. It's always good to be daring when making dresses.
It is important though to know the right plain color to pick. For instance, you can't pick the loudest color from the print to match the outfit. It's advisable to go for the less invisible colors on the print. That way, the chosen plain fabric will pop out.
Another thing is to consider the accessories you will be needing for the attire. So when choosing plain color, think of your accessories, you don't want to look like a rainbow out there (laughs).
A good tailor is also important. Some tailors do mess up our fabrics sometimes. I keep saying this in all my fashion articles. Always go for the best tailor. Better for them to charge you higher than to pay low and wear something bad.
That's it for today, let me know if you found a favourite please. Share for others to see too.
