The Hanfu, Zhongshan suit (Mao suit), Tang suit, and cheongsam (qipao) are the four most distinctive types of traditional Chinese clothing.
Chinese make it their own by incorporating pieces that are unique to their culture, such as traditional Chinese clothing. That is not the only thing that makes them special. Chinese street fashion also mixes pieces from different styles to create a stunning statement outfit.
Over the past few weeks a new trend has emerged that all about documenting street style specifically Chinese street style. Slow-motion clips of fashion fans in Shanghai, Beijing, and more walking down the street while wearing impossibly cool outfits have taken over the app.
The video shows people walking through what appears to be an outdoor shopping center to the music. The video launched the trend to mainstream popularity on social media prompting people to question who is filming these incredibly fashionable people.
