She started her media career after she emerged as the second runner up at the 2010 edition of Miss Malaika beauty pageant. She worked Ghone Tv, a subsidiary of the EIB NETWORK for about five years. She is currently with the Media General Group's TV3 Ghana. Berla Mundi has hosted a number of corporate events and reality shows.
She hosted Africa's first syndicated show on DSTV, Moment with MO. She was recognized as the most Influential Ghanaian in 2017 by Avance Media. She also received recognition from the Glitz Style Awards founded by Claudia Lumor as the Most Stylish Media Personality.
Berla is an Old Student of the Achimota School.She further went to Ghana Institute of Journalism and the University of Ghana, Legon. She is also known for her advocacy for girls and women's rights. She has a mentoring and career guidance project; Be You by Berla Mundi which shines light on the touching stories of young women in the development of the society.
As part of the beautiful successes chalked by Berla is the role to host Ghana's Biggest Music Awards show organized by Charter House; the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for four consecutive years.
