DIY Recipes: How to make the perfect Fante

Fante a new fish sauce burned-through in Ghana and other West African nations. 

 


This formula is famous in the Central piece of Ghana and it is love due to its effortlessness.

Technique 


Completely was onion, garlic and ginger. Move them into a blender and mix them together. 


Add salt and Maggi solid shape to the mixed combination and use it to prepare the fish. Steam the salmon for around 8 minutes. 


Empty palm oil into a pan and spot it over medium warmth. Cleave a few onions and add to the oil. 


Put salted fish into a bowl of water to eliminate a portion of the salt from it. Cleave salted fish into sizeable pieces and add to oil. 


Mix tomatoes and pepper and add the combination to the oil. Mix consistently. Add shrimp powder and nutmeg. 


Permit the stew to cook for around 5 – 8 minutes. Add the prepared fish and cook for 5 minutes. 


Present with banku, kenkey, ampesi or rice.
