Sausage in Tomato gravy
Making this recipe is so easy and quick.
1 package fresh sausage - turkey, chicken or other
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1/2 cup ketchup or tomato sauce
In a substantial skillet or cast iron pot, heat the oil. Add the frankfurter and enough water to cover the wiener at the midway imprint. Cook over medium hotness until the water reduces and the frankfurter tans. Turn over and rehash the cooking system.
When the wiener has seared on the two sides, add the onions and pepper and sauté with the hotdog (in case you are utilizing the pureed tomatoes add now).
When the onions have turned shading, add sufficient water to make sauce. Add the ketchup and cook until warmed all through.
Cut wiener into scaled down pieces and serve over hot rice.
