How to prepare HAM 

This Christmas ham recipe is perfect for family moments this festive season ;Christmas with for a twist on the usual festive spices.


 (12 pounds) bone-in ham, 

1/2 cup whole cloves

1 cup packed brown sugar

4 cups water, or as needed


Preheat the broiler to a smidgen over 300 degrees. 

Put ham in a cooking container, and press entire cloves into the top. 

Load the top with a layer of earthy colored sugar. 

Empty sufficient water into the lower part of the cooking container to go to a 1 inch profundity. Cover the dish firmly with aluminum foil or a top.

Prepare for 4 1/2 to 5 hours in the preheated broiler (around 22 minutes for each pound), or until the inside temperature of the ham has arrived at 160 degrees . 

Ensure the meat thermometer isn't contacting the bone. Let represent around 20 minutes prior to cutting.
