
Vegetable rice is simply rice cooked with vegetables. It is a dish that can be eaten at any time of the day, but especially during lunch and dinner times. It is easy to make and doesn’t take much time.
Ingredients
2 cups of long grain rice
2 cups of chicken broth
1 small onion (chopped)
1 carrot (chopped)
½ cup of green peas
½ cup of sweet corn
Steps
Wash rice completely and strain water from it utilizing the colander. Put away
Empty chicken stock into a pot and carry to boil.(Adjust taste with more salt if essential)
Add the rice to the chicken stock ablaze, cover the skillet with its top and let it cook for around 20 minutes on medium hotness.
Eliminate the cover, utilize a fork to cushion the rice up a little and add the vegetables to it : onion, carrot, green pea and sweet corn and blend it in with the rice.
