This has compelled son private Cars owners to park their vehicles and resort to using Okada and Public Transport. The development has also reduced traffic congestion in urban areas within Ghana including Accra, Kumasi, Wa and Tamale.
A steel bender has designed a cooking bowl that can support dual cooking due to the hardship and difficulty in coming by charcoal and gas, the development has also resulted in some people using zarcaol produced from leftovers Coconut. The cooking bowl has been splitted into two with a different metal steel which will support for one to cook both rice and stew at the same time with same quantity of gas or charcoal.
Several people have come out to hail the idea and labelled it as very intelligent and smart move.
Others were however particular about akple and banku but said it will go a long way to reduce the burden they are facing with regards to the rising cost of Fuel for cooking.
Ghanaians are used to cooking with Charcoal and gas, in the absence or rise in the cost of these things, the economic hardship is felt by so many people.
Meanwhile the president of Ghana has assured that he will remove fuel levies to ensure the price of fuel goes down, GPRTU has also issued a statement suggesting they will increase lorry fares to tally with the price of fuel in the country, the Government has however attributed the increase in fuel prices to global factors and the depreciation of the Ghana Cedi to the Dollar.
