Snacks are little portions of food consumed in between meals. Snacks are available in a number of formats, including packaged snack foods and other processed foods, as well as items cooked at home using fresh ingredients. Snacks are traditionally made with items that are readily available at home and do not require much preparation. Packaged snack foods grew in popularity as convenience stores proliferated.
As a result, people learn how to make some of these foods in order to make a living. Among the few snacks covered in today's post, I will show you how to make "poloo," a snack comprised primarily of coconut, sugar, and flour. Follow us as we learn how to make this tasty snack.
1 cup of all purpose flour
Fill a mixing bowl halfway with flour.
Add the desiccated coconut to the mix.
Mix in a pinch of salt, nutmeg, and sugar.
To make a hard dough, add a little water at a time
Cut it into desired shapes and sizes after rolling it out flat.
Deep fry for 3–5 minutes in vegetable oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
Remove them from the oil and sift off any leftover particles with a strainer.
Allow to cool completely before serving.
