The third witness of the of petitioner brought the court to laughter when he told the court that,he was offered tea and not tea and biscuits.
He was responding to questions put to him by the lead counsel of the first respondent Mr Amenuvor.
He was asked during the collation in the strong room of the electoral commission,he was offered tea and biscuits but he hilariously responsded that,he was offered tea but not tea and biscuits this made the whole court burst into laughter.
He however insisted that, the chairperson of the electoral commission is fully aware that, she directed them out of the strong room of the commission.
Mr Nunoo then made reference to the former chairman of the electoral Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan that , during his tenure,he ensured provisions are made for all errors to be corrected be results are announced.
He said this never happened in the current chairperson's era as no room was allocated for corrections to be made before the declaration of the results were made
In my opinion the electoral commission's chairperson should be given the opportunity to say her side of the story by testifying in the supreme court as the legal team of the petitioner is anticipating.
The lots of allegations being made against her and her lawyers attempt to get her out of cross examination speaks volumes about the substance in the petitioner's case.
Whether or not the chairperson of the will be cross examined by the petitioner's legal team lies in the bossom of the noble judges...
