Banana nut bread

This banana nut bread recipe flavoured with brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon is absolutely delicious and completely irresistible.

Ingredients

½ cup butter room temperature

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

6 medium bananas (approximately 300g)

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

2 cups flour

1½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

pinch of salt

¾ cup walnuts roughly chopped

For the topping

2 tbsp brown sugar

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ cup walnuts

Method

Preheat the broiler to 180°C/350°F and oil and line a 9x5in/23x13cm portion skillet with material paper. 

Cream the spread and sugar together until pale and cushioned. 

Add the eggs, each in turn, and beat well after every option. 

Squash the bananas with a fork then, at that point, add to the bowl and blend in. 

Filter together the dry fixings then, at that point, add to the bowl and blend in, taking consideration not to over blend. Crease in the pecans. 

Move the hitter to a lubed and lined portion dish. 

Join the sugar, cinnamon and staying nuts together then sprinkle over the player. 

Prepare the banana bread for 45-an hour or until a stick embedded tells the truth. 

Eliminate from the stove and permit to cool totally prior to cutting and serving.
