The ministry's intervenes with a short statement on Facebook following a public outcry over the reports.
The ministry wishes to inform the general public that it will issue a release today in response to the allegations published in the said news story about the processes of acquiring vaccines for the nation.
It is therefore asking the general public to exercise patience. The ministry will come out with the facts.

Sputnik V is Russian made vaccine approved in dozens of countries around the world. A peer-reviewed article in The Lancet shows the vaccine has an impressive 91.6 percent efficacy rate against the Covid-19 virus.
Despite being the world's first, the World Health Organization is yet to give the Sputnik V, an emergency approval.
